Blue Bend

We went to Blue Bend a couple a couple of weeks ago and had a great time! It's a shame that it seems like we don't have time to do it more often!

Ice Cream for Breakfast!

Around here, sometimes we have ice cream for breakfast. (Notice the jammies.) Actually, Ruby saw it in the freezer and I didn't have the energy for the fall out if I denied her. But I think what's the difference if you eat ice cream in the morning or in the evening?!


Well it certainly makes her happy!

We're back up and running!

This is Josey! He's one happy, healthy baby!

He sleeps like an angel! That's different from Ruby.

He has big blue eyes like Ruby and is quite a bruiser weighing in at 17 pounds!

And of course, he loves his Mommy!

First time in the snow

This was the big snow at Christmas time. Ruby loved it!

Eating alone!

This was Ruby's first time eating totally on her own. She did a good job but I think she got tired of all the hard work and wanted me to just get the yogurt in her mouth for her!

Too Quiet

I went around the corner for one minute to do something in the kitchen and when things got too quiet this is what I found!

It's not easy being 14 months old,...

I have been wanting to get Ruby a WVU cheerleader outfit for a long time now. I finally found one and she looks as cute as a button in it!

One Year Old!

Ruby turned one on October 19th. We had a party for her on the 18th. The party went well and Ruby was as cute as ever! She went crazy when we sang Happy Birthday to her!

Party in an old classroom at WSS Junior High. The room looks a lot better than it did back then!

Me and Roo. That's the hat I made for her. She looks thrilled.

This is the cake I made for her. I was going to use fondant but just went with plain buttercream instead. I made a practice cake with fondant and no one liked the taste of it, even though I flavored it with vanilla.
